PB with 200miles have always given me warning saying door ajar on driver side. Shutting it with authority helps but looking at it from the outside, I noticed the driver side door is approx 1/8 to 1/4 inch from being flush with the rear driver side door. Call the dealer and they are sending it to their body shop to fix. Anyone else have door alignment issues?

I have a similar slight misalignment on one of my doors too. I'm sure it is with in the Ford tolerances but it is noticeable. At least I didn't get a rust bucket.

I have a SuperCab and the door alignment is not the greatest, but passable.
I have no intention of having anyone try to bring them into what many would call “correct fit”.
The driver side clamshell door does not “quite”close properly, and seems like it is in a slight bind when opening (you have to paying very close attention to realize this).

The reason I don’t want to play with the doors is that there is currently no wind noise or roar when the glass is up, and nothing rattles on rough roads.

Going back to my teens, my 79 Chevy C10 was not the most carefully assembled vehicle on the planet, but it sealed up and stayed rattle free for well over 30 yrs. ( now retired and quietly returning to earth at the side of my house with 430,000 mi)

My 05 Ranger looked like it was assembled by an artist, but after a couple of years the rubber started to soften and the doors developed an obscene rattle on even the best paved roads, and no way to adjust the doors in closer to the seal.

These newer vehicles are assembled with pretty tight tolerances overall.
even replacing fenders and hoods is too easy—bolt them on and they fit without spending an hour getting things lined up.

Same cannot be said for my old cars. A fender might take over an hour to get fitted properly and lined up. Doors just take forever providing you have access to attaching points.

enough rambling

Yea Ford's tolerances are crap, the first thing I noticed when I picked up my truck but it hasn't bothered me enough to go back to have them realigned as they offered.

Yup. Both doors. And it seems to be, for many anyways, just a small section right above the handle, both front doors. Bugs the crap out of me as well. Seems like every day I find more and more issues.
And if yu notice carefuly, front passenger's side door is a bit taller than the rear at the top, but perfectly flush ono the bottom.
I noticed that just because I tested the Zone Lighting.

Hello! Send us a private message with your F150's VIN and name & location of dealership. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this door issue. Thanks!

You have to slam my door on my 2021 powerboost to get the door to shut. The bad part is that when you drive over 55 MPH in freezing temperatures is squeaks. I can shove my hand between the door frame and the door to try to push out on the door, and the squeak stops. The door is shutting too tight. Still waiting for my dealer to schedule the repair. Listen to the squeak in the video...my fancy new truck squeaks louder than my 1990 bronco!
