Posted a few times during my search and have narrowed it down to two options. This is for my 2024 XLT SCREW 2WD with the stock suspension and 18" BAP wheels. Currently has stock 265/60/18 Dynapro's.

Option 1: Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 (265/70/R18 116T XL)
Option 2: Nitto Terra Grappler G3 (275/70/R18 116T SL BSW)

I'm in a suburb of Dallas and don't go off road. The most off road use this truck will ever see is my parents place off a dirt road in Michigan during the summers. I would like to go as big as I can go without rubbing. I know the Nitto's are AT's but they are the only SL option in 275/70/18 that seem to perform pretty well on the road and don't look silly aggressive. So which would y'all choose between the two?

Michelins. Put them on my truck an very please with ride and lack of road noise. G3s will get noisy as they wear.

Currently have both. My sizes are different but still. The Michelins are quieter for sure and did fantastic in the rain and snow. Just put the Nittos on so not a lot to go off but they ride well and while not what I would consider quiet they are not loud either. I do not yet have rain or snow experience with the Nittos but understand they do very well there also. Driving dynamics are very different but that is mostly due to the significant difference in sidewall size. I’m sure the Michelins would still offer more lateral traction in an equal size if you are looking for that. So far both are great.

Michelins are 305/45r22
Nittos are 275/70r18

Micheline/option 1 but in stock size. If you go bigger then you will lose acceleration and fuel economy and if you don't go off road then it doesn't make sense to go bigger.

I’ve used Michelin LTX on a lot of different vehicles. Very high qaulity tire. Quiet, comfortable, and long lasting with good all around traction.

I’ve owned both and currently running the Nitto G3. Both great in rain. You will not hear the Michelin. You will hear the Nitto. But by comparison to any other AT tire I have. Had experience with it is quiet. They might have a P rated tire in your size as well to keep some weight off since you do not go off road. Good luck with your decision!
