I have Nitto NT555RIIs on the back, and I need to lock the diff to make sure it hooks. My best launches are with assists turned off in sport mode. Hold the traction control button down until the timer is complete on the display.Rcsb FP700 2wd. I have Nitto 420v tires.
The truck will spin both tires with the open diff but not every time and it’s unpredictable.
The fact there is hardly any weight over the drive wheels makes it really difficult to get any traction from a stop. Ive thought about using a 2x4 or 2x6 plank of wood and making a couple crossmembers inside the bed located over the rear axle. That way I could throw some sand bags or whatever in there to have some weight over the rear end. I dont have the OE diff lock which I think will actually end make it a little easier to install the Eaton trutrac. IIRC there is something that needs to be done to disable or get rid of the components of the OE diff lock when installind the Eaton unit. It will be really nice to have the peace of mind of not worrying about the one wheel peel anymore. And tires that wear more evenlyI’ll be curious how well those tires do with a better diff. I may have gotten more than I need.

Anyone running 2WD with a supercharger/turbo? I'm wondering if its possible to get it to hook up.
Yep, I went with the 4wd and do not regret it. No way 2wd will put down this kind of power. Spend the extra $ and get the 4wd.
Sorry,I just got up and didn't read the post right. The Whipple is great. Do it. Just get ready to buy some tires. LOL. Mine will spin them thru 6th or 7th and I let out because it starts fish tailing. Keep in mind I have the stock tires on though.
