Dimming screen while lights are off?

Can anyone do this? I’m looking to dim the dash with all the lights off but the dash does not dim. It’s eye blinding. I am on the 730 update? Wondering if anyone else can do it?

I have the same issue, but I haven’t found a way. I am regularly sitting in parking lots watching streaming content on my screen via my NAVIKS device and this has been an annoyance i’ve dealt with from the start. I usually keep a black T-shirt in my truck and jam it in there but other than that I haven’t found any viable solution.

LMAO.. had to reply just because of your Occupation. I suspect the glare is bad for filming?

however, I wondered the same thing myself about that speedo/tach screen, you can darken the sync screen with the button by the climate controls ( I am sure you know that) but yah, the dimmer does nothing to the dash IF the lights are off. rather dumb , I agree

NVG driving actually. I saw a post where an update allowed that but unconfirmed.

Definitely one of the annoying things with the truck. If you need to run the PB overnight, the darn dash lights are on full bright the entire time as well as any other time.
