While driving today, I was experimenting with Lane Keep Assist. I noticed that if the road has a slight grade to it, you'll drift towards the line, LKA corrects, and then you drift back. But when it's a very flat road, you end up going like a pinball, from line to line. And that got me thinking...
How is Lane Centering different? Is there a second camera? I can't imagine sensors would be much help but the 360 cameras would be.... so is it a software thing? I can't find anything to differentiate HOW they are different other than comparisons between Co-Pilot Assist, 360 Active, Assist 2.0, etc.
NGL, my research was cursory because of, ya know, work! And I will continue looking, but I figured I'd ask the brainpower here while I look!
