Delivery turn around from Dearborn.

Hey all, this is more directed to anyone on here living in the Detroit area. My truck is scheduled to be built week of 10/16 at Dearborn assembly. I'm buying it through Russ milnie. Was curious as to how long people in the Detroit area are waiting for truck to get to dealer from Dearborn. Thanks for any info!

i'm just wondering what the currently timeline in general is for builds. i know the orders for 2024s are going to take much longer. in Canada we still are pushing orders for 2023s. (unless it's changed in the last week)

Oh man, I gotta imagine it takes forever to get anything shipped there with all the rail delays. Good luck sir.

My trucks was built on 9/18 in Dearborn and shipped out on the same day. My tracker updated today and my delivery estimate updated from 10/02 -10/15 to 9/25 - 10/08. I also contacted my dealer to get a location of where the truck was at yesterday. They said its off the rail car and should be delivered to the dealership within a week or so. Once it's built and shipped it seems like they're moving pretty consistently out of Dearborn. At least for trucks sent to PA as in my case.

Not sure about shipping to Detroit, but my truck was built in Dearborn on 9/14 and I’m still waiting for shipping to Milwaukee area as of now.

Other trucks seemed to have shipped much faster than mine so not sure about the average.

Mine is scheduled for that week, too, ordered from Bill Brown.

If everything works out as normal, your truck should be at your dealer within a few days of finishing production.

If you have a factory optioned spray in bedliner, add a week or two.

I'm not sure I can wait any longer, so I've got my name on a dealer stock order truck that was built today, hoping to have it by end of next week. But..it gets a spray in bedliner, which could delay it. if it's delayed 2 weeks, I'll wait for my original order.

I’m not sure what it’s like now, but in September 2021 my truck was at the dealer in eastern Ontario 6 days after being built. Rail to Montreal, then a 1 hour truck ride to my dealer, I thought that was a great turn around. I would think Dearborn to Detroit wouldn’t be more than a couple days after being built but that’s just speculation.

Mine took over 3 months after it was built to ship down to Toledo.

Just checked my tracker this morning and its showing as in the final prep stage on the tracker so it's at my dealership today. Later today I'm going to be taking my current lease in to get appraised. Might be coming home with a new truck today.
