Decrease Brake Pedal Sensitivity

I've got a 2024 2.7 and the brake pedal is super sensitive on initial application, this is pretty annoying to me when switching between vehicles - especially since I mostly use it to tow a race car and swap between the two right away.

The truck is bone stock and it is my understanding that these trucks are brake by wire or at least the brake boost is controlled electronically rather than by vacuum. Is there some kind of coding that is used in a different trim package that slightly reduces the assist or softens the start of the brake pressure curve?

I haven't found much searching around the internet so I figured it was worth asking.

Great question. Following. I feel like the braking is a little funky in my truck, but thats because the engine braking transmission strategy is absofucking stupid. It makes it hard to accurately judge the right modulation to brake smoothly.

I’m interested also… I have a 2025 Powerboost and feel like it’s very difficult to brake smoothly. On my truck, I feel like I have to apply a lot of pressure to get it to stop and to hold it when I come to complete stop. I just came out of a 2021 GMC Sierra, so I know I have a little bit of a learning curve. But it still feels strange to me.

No, there's no way to soften up the brakes or alter the coding for it.
