Dealer said they cant cancel my order? have questions!

Ordered a 2022 xlt but want it changed to a 2022 tremor , dealer is saying they cant cancel now, even tho i was given no vin yet or anything.

anything i can do i gave them deposit, but really dont want the xlt. spending 70k i want the truck i like its alot of money!

he says they cant keep my current truck cuz they will lose an allocation but its not even built yet.

How much markup do they want for the tremor. Dealors around me want $15k above msrp for a tremor. Might have something to do with it.

I’m not buying it, you should be able to cancel the order. Then you can write an email to your sales guy stating the reason for your cancel. They will send that to Ford so as not to jack up their allocation.

500 deposit hes saying to get new order they gotta take 1k off mty current discount :/

Personally, and if you can, eat the $500 and go to a different dealership and place your Tremor order.

Or at least attempt to go his manager and have the conversation.
