Will do…taking it in Monday morning for them to figure it out. Oddly enough the more rattle style noise in my driving video doesn’t seem to be happening or I’m not noticing anymore but the one of me backing up and moving forward definitely still is. The creaking style sound is definitely still occurring. So be interested to see what they say.
Was the dealer able to find anything?

I have the exact same noises on my 3-week old 23 Lariat PB with 600 miles. It was manufactured in May of '23, which is supposedly not affected by the earlier axle issues, but who knows. If you wind up addressing with your dealer please keep us updated!
Hello. Are you still experiencing this creaking noise concern? If so, I would like to look into it on my end. Please send over a private message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer.

Sorry for delayed reply. Nope said they couldn’t hear anything…couldn’t believe it because if you just have the windows down and move it between reverse and drive, and let it start moving, it’s clear as day. But what I find even more humorous is I literally just got in the mail this week a damn recall letter from Ford that literally states “may initially result in a clicking noise as the bolt becomes loose”!! ??‍♂?‍♂?‍♂ Ford looking for new certified mechanics??? Cuz I think I am more than qualified. So freaking stupid and sadly I thought I liked the dealership I purchased from but I’ll be going elsewhere for my service from now on. Sucks because I paid for the $19.95 oil changes, wish I could transfer those but while I understand they can’t throw parts at something, this should have been clear as day that it was the precursor to the bolt(s) failing completely.

Im having a similar issue in my ‘22 PB. Sometimes I hear it at startup, but typically it’s at taking off or right after it switches gears. Mines more of a squeak.

I know this thread is a little older but wondering if my 22 Platinum Powerboost Max Tow is running into the same thing. I’ve got to verify my left rear axle bolt is also intact but confirmed right side is still ok. I am hearing this sound which I can only best describe as either a creaking or rattling noise. It happens driving at lower speeds, while braking or accelerating, as well as when I shift gears (drive to reverse, vice versa). I know noises can be damn near impossible to nail down but hoping someone recognizes similar sound and can validate my concern before I head to dealership. I’m due up for another oil change shortly so I’d like to have them address at same time. The 2 clip links I’ve added are what I’ve recorded. Any help or guidance is appreciated!

I have the same issue. What did you find out?

**************************************************
I now have a creaking noise coming from the rear of my vehicle when I put it in drive or reverse, especially if I give it a little gas or hold down the brake and gas simultaneously. I took it to the dealership on Saturday, thinking the issue might be with the universal joint, but it wasn’t. You can hear the noise clearly if you put your ear to either side of the axle. Since I don’t have any loose seals or bolts, they won’t look into the rear end until a fix is released in the first quarter of 2025. I called Ford to complain about the noise, but I was told they could do nothing until the fix was available.

Has anyone else experienced a similar noise?

@Ford Motor Company, this is a massive issue with my truck.

Sorry for delayed reply...so I actually haven't paid too much attention to it (for better or worse) since I got that letter in the mail right after it was at the dealership for them to look at. It very well could still be doing it, or my axle bolt(s) could have finally just gave. I figured either way the fix isn't available until at least 1st quarter next year, so if it ever does come through I'll have it addressed then. It's finally the time of year down here that I can ride more with the windows down since the temps are better, so I'll try to keep an ear out see if I notice it still. But it doesn't seem to be significantly impacting my ride (otherwise I'd be pressing more as well).
