Been curious to see what type of conversion would be possible on the new front ends. For those interested, it looks like you can upgrade the lower trims to the Lariat front end without having to change the hood. The hood appears to be the same on the Lariat. The trims above Lariat look to have a different hoods.

The fitment of the grille for XL, STX and XLT on the sides where the grille lines up with the front fenders has been less than stellar from what I’ve seen. Mine and multiple others I’ve seen on lots. The gaps aren’t the cleanest and just don’t line up that great. Anyone else seen that?

I bet it will be another 2 weeks before more trucks get into owners hands to be able to fully know what might work/swap on 2024's.

The only issue i see is that youll have to source headlights if you do a grill change from your XL. It appears the XL grill is one piece and it surrounds your headlight where as the others have the day time running lights filling out that space. i havent looked at the STX but to do a Lariat and up swap, probably gonna be similar to the 21-23 swap. You're gonna need an adapter harness as well.
also, you're right about the hoods. Any of the hoods with the vents are differently shaped at the front edge.

That’s what I figured as well. Am I imagining things or does the front bumper look to be the same opening if you opted for fog lights? It looks like the opening is the same and may fit the higher end fogs. Obviously no front bumper sensors on the lower end trims.

I would think the fog opening would be the same. Do STX or XLT's have the bumper sensors? these are sooooo new its hard to tell without a lot of real world pictures.

I would guess the fog opening would be the same across all bumpers though.

I'm looking into putting a KR grille on my Lariat when it arrives as I'm REALLY unsure about that grill (and the wheels)... I know it'll have a gap between the top and the curved lip of the bonnet but I think it will look ok....

Depends on how it looks in the flesh when it arrives....

I saw this online yesterday and definitely following. I’m sure all the conversions and grill swaps will start happening more and more. I’ll sit back and wait for everyone to figure it out.

Same here.. I just ordered my Regular cab XL without the 103-a package (to avoid the work surface option) and to give me the flexibility to change the grill and add more distinctive fog lights. I'm also looking at spillters and possibly a Super Snake type front end. I figure by the time I actually take delivery 3-4 months from now there will be a lot more options for the front end.
