I'm not a CR fan by any means but there are other sources that are reporting F series decline in quality. Even Farley has admitted it and will take years to "fix". Check out JD Power (that Ford dominated for years) full size truck ratings....

Oh there's no doubt that build quality and reliability have gone right down the shitter for all car brands, not just Ford.

Sadly all but gone are the days when you could buy a car/truck and know it'd last a solid 10+ years before falling apart or needing major repairs. Now we're lucky to get more than 2-3 before it turns into a rattle trap and has a slew of major failures.

I owned a 2001 E430 Sport. We loved that sedan! Easy V8 power and great sight lines. The E class had just enough luxury to be nice without something breaking all the time.

Well I was happy to see Majeski win the truck series in a Ford last night.. I really don't hate Ford but I won't give them anymore of my money as long as they keep eliminating content and build a below average quality truck. I'm not crazy with what Stellantis is doing to Dodge, Ram and Jeep. As much as I like the new twin turbo inline 6 engine and the new Tungsten trim, I'll stick with what I have. I miss the air suspension (would lower for ease of entry) that would come in handy with my wife who's going thru hip replacements. Also, Ram's attempt at hands-free driving apparently is worse than BlueCruise.
