Hello everyone, my connected navigation is up for renewal in July. Are there any significant downsides to not renewing it, any other features that it would comprise by being turned off? I manly use Apple Maps thru CarPlay to navigate. Thanks.

I was surprised to find in my 24 that you have to pay even for basic navigation. I never use factory nav but it’s always a nice backup to have. I can’t comment on how well it works but google maps, Waze, and Apple Maps all do work great so I cannot see the factory system being worth the money.

Mine just ran out and I did not renew, like said in the post, I now use Apple Maps, works well and puts directions in the instrument cluster, u can still use Siri for voice as you lose that with Ford nav.

No reason to keep it. HERE maps is notoriously inaccurate and error prone. I'd stick with what you have on your phone.
