I'll have to check that out. I didn't seen an actual "button" on the screen for climate control. We have Sync 3 in the 13 Explorer and it has everything under climate.I have a 2021 Lariat. I get a pop-up screen when I hit the button on the dash. I can select any or all of the three options.
I’ll go one better: the best heater/cooling system I ever had in a car was in a ‘79 Saab 99GL. Three rotary knobs on the dash, one each for defrost, footwell vents, and temperature.i miss the days where majority vehicles HVAC controls were physical switches/buttons..
Please please lets not talk about gates being attached via easy to replace things. I'm still dealing with the trauma of changing the motor on the 13 Explorer. At least it was the passengers side so I didn't have to actually take out the dash.I’ll go one better: the best heater/cooling system I ever had in a car was in a ‘79 Saab 99GL. Get this: each was connected to its respective gate via a steel cable inside a housing.
Worked flawlessly, and gave me perfect control over airflow and temperature in the cabin. Perfect. No A/C though … this was back when men were men.
This has been a gripe of mine since buying my 2023 Lariat... Ford could have easily (should have) set it up so that when you push that button multiple times it cycles through the various options rather than having to use the touch screen.I have a 2021 Lariat.
