February 2022 build Lariat 502A, purchased June 2022. No issues for first 2000 miles. A few days ago I left for a short trip and after a few miles noticed the entire climate control system was "off". The main power button did nothing. Pulled over and shut the truck off, restarted and after a few pushes it came to life. It was normal for a few days and then this morning same thing, button would not do anything. Shut down the truck, restarted and still nothing. Then after a mile or so it came to life on it's own.

I haven't called dealer yet until I see more of a pattern because I fully expect it will be fine if I take it in. Has anyone experienced this specific behavior? I have read of inconsistent performance but this is a situation where it just won't power up at all.

Hey there! I can look into your F-150’s climate control concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

I agree that makes sense, it has only happened on a Sunday and at 6:00 am today so that hasn't yet been possible.

Oddly mine did this a couple days ago while driving. I never really noticed when it turned off but at some point it started to get hot and noticed it was off. I was able to turn it back on while in motion tho. I do have a OTA stuck at installation in progress for a few days and have not seen that before.

I haven't paid much attention to OTA's since I have only had the truck weeks...and other than my 1800 mile drive home from the dealer haven't driven it more than a dozen times. So where do I look to see if an OTA might have happened or is stalled?

Yes. My fan speed, direction selection, and fan speed all stopped responding on a trip last week. The indicator lights all showed currently but there was no actual response. I’m also concerned about bringing it the dealership being an intermittent issue.

this TSB was posted in another thread.

About the end of June, I had my truck into the dealer, where because of some issues, was updated to 2.8.3. Shortly after that, a day or two later, my HVAC controls just shut off while I was traveling on the highway. I was able to turn them back on by hitting the power switch. This has only happened once so far.

Hi there. This HVAC concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your F-150. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

@Zengineer Did you or Ford ever find a solution?

I’m experiencing a similar issue. Bought a 2021 F-150 in May just as temps were starting to hit 80 regularly. I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Recently, as temps reach 35-45 degrees in the early mornings, my climate control panel (ac/heat/seat cooler & warmer buttons) are not receiving power at all. However, about 5-15 minutes into my drive the panel suddenly turns on and the heater starts blowing. It’s happened about 5 times now. Started off once a week and now it’s happened the last 3 days in a row. I’ve checked the fuse to ensure it’s secure and not blown. Any suggestions?

No, it just stopped acting up on it's own, and 44,000 miles later it works fine.

I had a similar issue and it was corrected via a TSB which I can't find the number for you, my apologies
