I'm going to try to explain this the best I can and hopefully someone will have some experience with it.
Brand new Plat PB brought home recently. I cannot figure out the climate control settings. There are a few issues im dealing with. I'll list them below and see if anyone has any ideas?
1. On remote start, there is literally no rhyme or reason to what the climate will be set at when I start it. 75 degrees out, it starts with the heat blasting, and heated steering wheel and heated seats on... In the morning when its 40 degrees out, it'll start with the AC on and cooled seats on.. And yes, I have set the Remote Start Climate settings to 'OFF'.
2. When I cycle through the 3 heat or cool settings for the seats (pressing the respective button) the screen pops up the little picture and says im turning the seats off when its being turned on, and says its "on" when all the lights on the button are off which obviously should signify that the seats heat or cool option are off.
3. Yesterday when trying to troubleshoot this stuff, all of a sudden a new symptom popped up... I'd press the heated seats button and it was illuminating the cooled seats button... This morning it did not do that..
Hopefully these were explained well enough and maybe someone has some experience with similar issues and can provide guidance? My only thought is maybe this is an issue that is tied to the well reported manufacturers battery issues?? The truck has less than 600 miles on it and these have been issues since day 1.. Does the system need to be reset maybe??
