Well, today I agreed to buy a used '21 (1 owner, clean title, low miles) out of state for ~$7k less than my new '22 with X Plan . Difference is this one has Max Tow, FX4, and spray liner, but no sport package or sunroof. I'm good with that diff. If all goes well, I'll be picking it up within the next week. Ford has about a week to change my status from from In Prod to Built, but even then I'm hard pressed to wait and spend the extra money. Also, I have near perfect credit and was quoted over 5.5% today. No thanks, I'll figure something else out. These higher interest rates will eat your lunch.

It’s a little too quiet on this thread today…anyone get some news today? @Blackout150 are you still 10/30-11/5? I haven’t updated yet.
I was moved to 11/4-11/10. I just don’t know when I was moved. They just keep changing my dates.

I think the interest rates continuing to rise is the part that's really starting to make me mad. Who knows when these trucks will be finished and then who knows what the interest rate will be

This is why I'm glad I got a '22 vin. I ordered when it was 0% for 60 months.

Also, maybe shop around the loan. We just got a loan for another vehicle at 4.56%

For those that have been fortunate enough to take delivery and are using Ford financing, are dealerships truly offering the rate that was available at time of ordering or did it somehow have to be “locked in” to be able to have that rate?

Usually the fine print says you must take delivery by a certain date to get the promotional rate. My dealer usually shops it around for me and gets a competitive rate, unless ford is offering zero %.

For those of us with 11/5 dates, "may the odds be ever in your favor". Crickets on my truck so far......

I took delivery this week on Tuesday. Ordered Jan ’21 in NC

After reminding my dealership about 0% when I ordered, I got 0%. I did not know about the ~$1500 that they gave me for “items removed from my order” beyond what is on the window sticker. They also came back to me after everything was signed and gave me an additional check for $2500, they said that “they had found some additional rebates”

The dealership delivery process took a couple of hours, but they were very apologetic about the extreme delays and were overly honest with pricing, etc. ( I negotiated invoice pricing at time of order) (They matched Ziegler ESP pricing)

I know that most of what you read on these forums are horror stories, but my truck is amazing! It came with all the parts, and is better than my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited in every category I can think of. The only things that I could even possibly complain about are the fact that it did not come with the most recent OTA updates and it has water spots like it’s been sitting in a city parking lot for 3 months.

Both trackers told me yesterday that my truck is built. I take it as a good news. Modules didn’t change yet. Now, let’s see how many weeks the truck will take to come to Quebec.

Each step seems to be a challenge.

Poll is updated.

I’ve got a deposit down on a 2023 GR Corolla so will hear about allocations this week

They will want to give you that lower rate to make the sale. Anyone coming in will be hard pressed to pay over 4 percent on 70-80k truck. I’ve be locked in at 1.99 (Powerboost or it would be 0.99) as I ordered in March 2022.

I went on a Dearborn Truck Plant factory tour last week. They have one 10-hour shift on both Saturday and Sunday. I also learned that they're currently running 2022s and 2023s through the factory interchangably.
