I just moved into "build - awaiting shipment" when I refreshed the tracker this morning. So hopefully we are all going to be moving along here.

For everyone above reaching out to the executives, I found that I got the best information from emailing Andrew Frick, from which a Nick Steiner responded to me. He gave me info on what was holding my truck up and actual status, unlike the chat reps or exec. office who just tell you "chip hold, we don't know what exactly." I have to assume he was giving me accurate information too, since I progressed forward a day earlier than I was previously told that my next ETA window was.
Congratulations

I understand this is likely of little consolation to many, but I am going to play devil's advocate for a minute:

I believe it is not only possible, but likely, that the modules being used in the MY 23 are different than the MY22, and these modules probably are not backwards compatible on the 22's without making other changes to the trucks. I do not believe that FOMOCO would sit on these trucks because they do not make money on them until they ship out of the 400 gate (this is the point in which the assembly plant no longer owns the vehicle) and they cannot leave the 400 gate until they are ship-able/drive-able. So they are losing money by having these aging vehicles sitting in their possession.

What was he saying? I am assuming the rest of us in that blend date time had the same problems. Hoping with you moving to built some of at the end of 8/8 see some movement
I previously posted this about the information that I had received from Nick. I was listed as "chip hold" the entire time, but it sounds like that "hold" might have different steps/stages for the truck to go through to move to built from what he told me. From some previous posters here who have some contacts within the production, the "chip hold" trucks get put back into the production line across the 3rd shift and weekend shifts.
I had been waiting on an instrument cluster, that is now installed, but the truck "needs to be re-inserted into the production line to complete the initialization of all modules."

Started with andrew.frick(at)ford.com and heard from nsteiner(at)ford.com

Well, I guess another weekend will come and go and my truck is still sitting around somewhere. Maybe the train will show up one day this week to pick it up. Glad to see some of you getting some movement.
From my liaison:
I very much do understand the situation. Your vehicle has a Microchip hold that (fingers crossed) is supposed to come off next week. Once it comes off hold I will see if I can get it expedited for shipping but I cannot promise anything. Until that hold is off we are in a holding pattern. I’ve got several F-150’s I am working with that are on the same hold as you are. Not that its any consolation at this point, but you are not alone in this holding pattern.

So basically nothing. I will probably get new dates at the end of next week
I also have Corri as my liaison. So far she's only gave me the generic email to let me know she'll give me an answer in 5-7 business days. Hoping the microchip hold finally gets lifted for you next week!

I have Corri as well and she hasn't responded since saying she'll look into my situation about a week ago. Sent a follow up email yesterday but no info so far.

Could it be Tarita? That is my contact at Ford corporate. I admit I had a difficult time catching her name. I did not get an email address, just a phone number.
That’s it. I will try and give her a call today or tomorrow. If I am able to get an email I will let you know.

It’s funny how different people respond in different ways. Your liaison only seems to respond by phone where as Corri won’t accept phone calls on her extension (just says this person is unavailable) and only responds by email. Would be nice if you could contact them both ways. Oh well

According to Nick, my truck was delivered to Grainger today. Finally feels like it is getting real.

Emergency fuel door release. I pulled it not knowing, and it got stuck between the bed and wheel liner, so the fuel door wouldn't stay closed. Kept getting a warning message on the cluster. I felt like a complete dumbass. I ended up pulling the liner back partially and tucking it up inside.
How did you get the fuel door to close again? I had my truck washed today and the guys pulled the string not knowing. Now the door won’t latch

The string was pinched between the bed and the wheel liner. I had to move the liner and the string reset, allowing me to shut the fuel door again.

It’s a little too quiet on this thread today…anyone get some news today? @Blackout150 are you still 10/30-11/5? I haven’t updated yet.
I’m 11/4-11/10. Hoping to see some movement by the end of the weekend
