All, Hope you get yours soon. It's worth the wait. As other have mentioned, Ford chat and VVR are not always up to date. My dealer sent me the VVR snap shot Thursday night as it showed the truck in Ohio as of Tuesday, but UP told me it was unloaded in TX on Wednesday at 5:30 AM. MY dealer called me Friday morning and said it was at the dealership..

Drove home with it last night.
Today got full ceramic tint, installed the bed rug and Retrax power pro.

Nice truck, congrats! How was the bed rug install? Did you cover up the work surface?

Some people are concerned with module count, and especially the 720 module. That's the Instrument Cluster Panel. I don't get this. I don't get the modules really. I compared my modules to my friend's MY21 Platinum. No, they're not identical trucks. There are option differences and standard equipment differences.
  • My module count is about 55% of his.
  • My friend's truck - AS BUILT - doesn't have the 720 module at all. Both are Platinum's.
  • He's got a ton in the 706-Image Processing Module A and I have hardly anything.
  • Same thing with 727-Audio Front Control Module. He's got a lot and I hardly any.
  • I've got a 7E4-Battery Energy Control Module that he doesn't have.
  • Otherwise our module lists are similar.
I assume I should have more modules than I do. I don't know how many I should have, nor do I expect to have the same thing as my friend.

I know, I know. Ford got their shit together and moved mine along quickly. I wasn't expecting it until next week.

We can still grab a beer or support some college educations in the meantime...
I endorse this idea

Jumped on Ford chat this morning since I needed a dose of Ford B.S. since I am going the blow through the 10-16 Oct ETA for chip hold release. The new fantasy date for release is 20 Oct. lol. They did give me a new phone number for the New Vehicle Support Team. 1-800-334-4375. Anyone have any luck with that number or is same story as the regular Ford number? I will try it Monday since it is a M-F line only.
I call that number regularly and it’s about as useless as the chat. They give you zero information and can’t tell you dick about your truck. They give you a target ETA which is about as trustworthy as a Taco Bell wet fart. They only reason i call it is because i get a small bit of satisfaction knowing that my call is documented and that I’m wasting the call centers time looking up the same information that was given to me the previous day. I feel like it’s a small victory calling them regularly and annoying them since Ford has regularly shit the bed with my order.

Bed rug install wasn't bad at all. I already had a spray in liner, so it added a little more concern and the need for adhesion promoter. getting the lights and the switch in cleanly took some time and patience. I did cover up the work surface as I was going to go under it, but then just having the bed rug there getting in and out I was I enjoy the padding on the tail gate way more than I'll use the work surface.

For those working about module count, I have 1060 modules with a lot of 706 and 727 missing compared to other simalarly speed trucks. I do need to go back to the dealer tomorrow for a recall for the Blue cruse and entertainment system update. I'll check the count after that., if it even updates on the system.

As of now, my truck has about 1,000 lines of data. The reference truck I was using had 1,800. Both are fully built. Like you, I'm missing multiple modules that I was expecting to see. I have a few theories as to why, but nothing to prove them.

Question for those ex-Chip Hold Club members who have taken delivery of their trucks, any issues from sitting in a storage lots for months? Flat spots on tires, rusty rear end, industrial fallout paint issues or anything else that the rest of us should look for when our trucks show up?

I’ll let you know once I take delivery. Should be in about a week or so.
