Chip hold My22 & My23

I've been watching several threads and it seems to me that most "chip holds" are taking at least 30 days. I know some have taken much longer however I keep seeing movement after 30 days.

I know some guys have reached out to the Ford execs. Anybody hearing anything useful? Like an ETA on missing chip or parts or whatever? Chat was again useless today. LOL, I think they're getting tired of us. She got a little snarky when I pushed for more information past the standard answers.

Just got my shipped notification this morning. ETA Oct 7-13, which is a week later than the ETA they gave last week with the built notification.

Chat got snarky with me yesterday as well but they coughed up a number to "New Vehicle Support" that I intend on calling today.

I have some movement.

I opened the FordPass widget and saw that my truck is not in power save mode (happens after 15 days of not starting). They moved my truck and put more gas in it. I just checked my modules and I now have 1756 lines. I previously only had 953 lines.

Just received an alert from FordPass saying my truck update was successful today. Updated to Ford Power-Up 3.5.2.

That is a lot of lines, my Shipped PB only has 1,056 Module Lines.
I have most of the options on my 502a, (except Max Tow, B/O Unleashed, FX4), so I'm surprised you have that many more than me

I've got a blend date of 8/19 on my black XLT powerboost with BAP, tow package, bed liner, soft cover. Only 877 module lines for me, guess that means I'm still waiting on stuff (no co-pilot assist for me).

I had one helpful Ford chat person tell me i was on a chip hold, my dealer could only tell me it was offsite and said "it's probably the bed liner I assume it'll be here in about a week". Give me a break.

This whole time i've not had a single email from Ford, even though Ford chat said my email address is correct for what they have on file. My sales person never once told me I had a build date, or gave me my VIN, and I've had to chase down every single piece of information since I put in my order in February 2022.

My grandfather was an engineer at Ford from the late 60s to the early 90s and I'm a southeast Michigan native. This really puts a sour taste in my mouth on the auto company I've had local and family pride in.

I can understand the supply chain issues, and give the benefit of the doubt on waiting. I cant understand the lack of communication or clear ETAs when I'm buying a $65,000 vehicle.

I sure hope this freakin' truck is worth it.
