I am surprised to see a Ford dealer near me in west Houston getting significant F150 inventory. I thought Ford said they were going to prioritize custom orders over dealer stock. About 3-4 weeks ago, the dealer had almost no trucks on the lot. Then they got about 6 platinums. Those were gone within a week. A week or so ago, they got about 10 Tremors. Driving by last night, they have about 20 F150s on the new truck line. I'll drive by this afternoon to see what trims they have.

I’ve been seeing the same thing for a while in my area. Plenty of Platinum, Limited and other trims making it to the lots with plenty of ADM. Although very few PowerBoosts last longer than a day or two.

Just did a comparison of modules to a similar truck that is delivered. I have 953 lines and the delivered truck has 1795.

It's funny my truck is missing so many lines (not sure how many modules are missing) because the truck is drivable and has working FordPass.

The VVR report is from the dealer. You can call your dealer and have them look at your order status

Yours is a powerboost with a 8/18 blend date. You are definitely on chip hold. Nobody with a powerboost on that build week has got a built email. They are all just sitting like most powerboosts the past month

My dealer called and let me know the truck arrived tonight. He then went on asking if I had received the new window sticker with the new, increased price. I told him we can talk about it when I come to sign paperwork... I know I am price protected.

However, I have a feeling I'm in for a fight with them. I have the order sheet (albeit, they did it based on a "lease" and not purchase, so it's $665 too high) signed by the sales manager with the current incentive of 0% and the PCO. Then he wrote "Incentive Protected."

I've watched the Long MacArthur video on Price Protection and I know I should be covered, but what can I say and do to make sure they don't try to screw me over?

$1300 difference between price based on my order in March and when I go to pick up this week.

My order date was 10/21/2021 I order a 2022 king ranch with 5.0
I had a build date of 9/5/2022
Bump to 9/23/2022
Now on Chip hold. I believe we will see 2023 models before some of us get are trucks!

Per sources work at Dearborn, it’s actually a part shortage although they tell you it’s micro chip. A guy from the raptor’s forum also confirmed this.

Look that over, first post has the attachment from Ford to dealers. Arm yourself with that info.

Been waiting on my 8/17 blend date power boost now on chip hold and yesterday my transmission went out. Its a 2005 dont even know if its worth fixing. This is just great, thanks ford for being so forthcoming with answers to our question's
