Contacted Granger today too, and received the same information. Chip said they have a LOT of vehicles on chip hold and no information from Ford on when those will end.

It says it ends on 9/7 right there. You saying we can’t trust Fords word now?

I was on chip hold for 5 weeks. It finally came together for me and I picked it up late last week. Hang in there.

it does seem XLT's have been flowing out moreso than the higher trims, so us lariat guys may be in for a bumpy ride!

So, whataya think? Was someone just ghosting on the job in my truck, or do you think this might indicate some real progress towards delivering my truck? Based on your experience (timing, etc.). I was never told or notified I'm on chip hold, that's been denied (there's just been no movement since "produced on 8/12").

Then you got your FordPass populated very quickly, also access to a working activation button. I was built 8/12; for me, getting the FordPass Activate button to work, then Pending status, and the Denied message all happened just today within about 10 hours! Hopefully it was in queue to be loaded onto transport truck while all this happened... we'll see (as we all know means, doubt it). But positive vibes!

All I can really say from my situation is that I received my activation denied message right around the time I was told my truck was on chip hold. I just chalked it up to someone moving my truck to wherever it was being held and saw the message on the touchscreen and denied the activation request. 5 weeks later it was shipped.
