Couldn’t agree more! You’d think if you scheduled something for production you’d make sure you had all the necessary parts to actually produce it. But I guess that just makes too much sense.
For sure. Especially when in Ford's emails to the consumer about their order it literally says
  • Scheduled for Production – all necessary parts are secured, and your order has been placed in the production schedule
So one would think oh were good to go then once this thing is scheduled

Order placed April 3rd with blend date of Aug 15th and in production now for 71 days! Can now see how easy it would be to just give up and go buy another MFG at this point. My dealer has all but said will be lucky to have it by end of the year. What trucks are shipping?
We are seeing a lot of Platinum's ship and very few Lariats especially from my build week. I'm at or near 80 days now. My question is happening to the value of our 2022 trucks when we won't take delivery until 2023? I also am going to push hard for @Ford Motor Company to install some new tires or credit me to buy new ones because I'm sure the brand new truck will have flat spots.

Maybe when Ford drops its terrible earnings tonight that'll gas light them to finish? But more likely our vehicles were absorbed by a black hole and are missing and never to be found again. The longer this goes I truly think our trucks have been forgotten about

Mine is a Platinum trim but also have the 360 Active 2.0 which I think may be holding me up.

My truck arrived Monday morning, along with my wife bronco. What's funny is that I was built on 9/29 and hers was built on 10/20. So my truck sat for a month, hers went from the assembly line to the delivery truck. I have the blank temporary badges, dealer has no idea when and if ill get the proper ones. I also could tell mine was parked for awhile, I got to see it before they cleaned it up, coffee cups in the bed, very dusty etc..

I talked to someone who works at the plant. They started 2023's this week. Night shift and weekend shift are the ones working on putting in missing parts on 2022's. So they bring them back to the plant, put on missing parts then park them again. For the offsite storage and transport back and forth, its apparently handled by a third party, maybe this is why there seems to be no rhyme or reason on what gets shipped first.

Hopefully you all see yours soon.

Congrats!

That explains why only 1 or 2 are done daily ? using a third party

Congrats! Looks awesome. It’s crazy your Lariat was built a month and a half after mine and you already have it while I’m sitting in the back of the racetrack with the bed starting to overflow with coffee cups.

I was also told that some of the ones that were parked had parts stolen or damaged (scratches scuffs etc) . So that has to do with some of it too. Its really no excuse from ford on how poorly they handled this, but gives a little insight into what is actually happening.

On top of the chip holds, it looks like the shipping issues are still alive and well. Mikey1299 that was part of our group initially, but ended up being built 9/29 - his truck is still sitting in Dearborn with an ETA to ship on 11/10.
No movement on my truck since getting some modules on Sunday. Still missing some.

After being told yesterday it would ship by 11/10 it magically flipped to shipped this morning. Got a convoy number which I think only gets me to the rail yard but maybe I am making progress?

That’s awesome! I should of ordered a Platinum and maybe I would get built.
I ordered a Platinum and I haven't been built. That truck is sitting in a parking lot somewhere rusting in the rain. I don't think it matters what configuration you ordered. It's a crap shoot as to what they put together and when. I'm getting to the point where I don't give a s#!t.

Jack Cooper Transport handles the logistics between the plant and the overflow lot a few miles down the road. At least thats how it is in Kansas City.

My order was placed 3/17. 22 Lariat 4x4 supercrew 3.5l V6 ecoboost. 501a with max trailer.
according to the tracker: Blend date was 7/26/2022. In production on 7/27/2022. 8/12/2022 was it 'built' it has been waiting shipping since that time. No word on anything different. The shipping tracker says its awaiting convoy with no other details.
