I don't even have a build week yet. Dealer told me that "Currently, any F-150 with the Active 2.0 package has a microchip hold which is causing other orders to be scheduled before orders with that package."What build week are you?
At least they said they are going to update you. I still have to email my liaison anytime I want any answers. She never emails me unless I email her first. It’s like why is it that you can’t give normal updates? Why do I have to hunt you down? Isn’t that your job?I received a phone from the Ford Motor Company Executive Office. They received my email. Nice lady but I know more than she does. I reinforced the point of view we all have, why are our trucks sitting on a lot in chip hold when they have the parts we are missing? They have built 10s of thousands of F150s since my blend date with the same parts? She said they are concerned and will look into it and update me every Tuesday and Thursday. Count me skeptical. Everyone email them to at least express our collective displeasure with the Ford ordering experience.
Good luck with that. I had 5 pushed build weeks after getting scheduled and then still got put on chip purgatory after it finally got built. Waiting over 80+ days for chips or whatever. I really hope that you guys don’t have to go through what all of us have been dealing with especially since you see tons of trucks get finished and delivered that were built way after us. Hopefully yours gets done soon. Almost thereOn top of the chip holds, it looks like the shipping issues are still alive and well. Mikey1299 that was part of our group initially, but ended up being built 9/29 - his truck is still sitting in Dearborn with an ETA to ship on 11/10.
No movement on my truck since getting some modules on Sunday. Still missing some.
Definitely agree this wait from in production is worse than waiting for the production dateEvery day that goes by now is worse than the wait from February until I got a build date in August.
On the verge of giving up, buying a Mustang and borrowing a truck when I need it.
Couldn’t agree more! You’d think if you scheduled something for production you’d make sure you had all the necessary parts to actually produce it. But I guess that just makes too much sense.Definitely agree this wait from in production is worse than waiting for the production date
