Checking for updates remotely with VIN in FDRS

If I have an active 2 day subscription to FDRS, can I check with manual VIN entry my one vehicle that is away with kid at college for any pending FDRS updates sitting there at that moment ready to run on it? Of course I know I can’t actually run them without being physically attached with the Mongoose.

you can manually run any vin in fdrs... lots of guy do it on here for members to check for updates.

...but I believe it will check against the latest truck upload to Ford servers for its VIN, not neccesarily the truck itself, which may/may not be the same. @rugedraw may know.

Yea, you can check it remotely. We do it all the time.

a few guys on here do it.. you have to pm them your vin.. ford is getting picky about people running vins.. if you send it to me i can run it for you.
