Charging system and battery.

Hey guys I'm going to place my order for 25 rcsb. I've read threads about battery issues. My work place is 5 miles away, the drive is about 20-25 minutes on the streets in stop and go traffic.
I will drive 20 miles on the highway once maybe twice a week. Will I have issues with the stock battery not getting charged enough and going into deep sleep? Will I be able to start the truck in deep sleep?

Distance has less to do with it than how long the engine is running. My daily commute is 25-30 minutes and I have a dash cam that runs until my battery hits 12.0 with the truck off.

I haven’t had any issues and in a year and a half I’ve only gotten the deep sleep message twice, one of them when I was gone for 6 weeks. I’d wager you’re fine

with the assumption being made you park in the garage, hook the truck up to a battery tender on the weekend. And only needs 8 to 10 hours with a one amp battery tender to get it back up to max capacity.
