Some how the charging cable for my iphone got wedged up underneath the sliding door for the front console. I can’t get the cable to move at all. Any ideas for how to get it out of there? Anyone know how to remove the sliding door? Thanks!

The cable is already thrashed, if you can slide it just cut it and pull. You can also try a panel removal tool and try to lightly pry the door door down.

Unfortunately it won’t even slide… I can’t imagine what it is stuck on. I’m thinking I might just cut it and leave the remaining piece in there. The door still slides back and forth

Of course not this one. It’s one of those apple branded ones with the charging puck at the end. Ended up taking all the trim apart and getting it all loose enough it slid out

If you can grab either end and pull it back and forth to confirm it's loose, then just cut it and pull each end out.

It was one of the apple MagSafe chargers so I wanted to try to save it. I got it out but it is a little beat up from trying to yank it.

huh, glad it hasn't happend to me....yet.
Looking at the parts on their parts.ford website there are definatly some things it could get looped around.

Best advice I can give is *if the cover will still move; get it so it is 1/2 way maybe 3/4 open, then grab both sides of your cable, push in (towards the engine), then try to roll cable in just one hand to get it to rise, and then pull back to see if you can get it hop over whatever it's stuck on.

Otherwise you're either taking the assembly apart, or just cuting the cable and pulling....

Best of luck!

How did you end up getting it out? We have one that just did this and it's stuck, won't slide back and forth, seems like it's caught on maybe the teeth on the underside or something else inside the lid?
