I know Carplay is having issues with disconnecting, I'm having a different issue. Whenever I'm talking on my phone through Carplay the call will go dead and the speakers will send out some random static or some weird noise and I won't be able to hear the call. The person can still hear me, but I have to switch from my vehicle back to my phone speakers to hear the person.
Carplay is still connected when this happens so I don't think it's a reception issue. I've "forgot" and repaired the device to try and resolve this, but no luck. It's a 2023 PB and the first few weeks, it did not do this at all.

Also having the same skipping 2nd gear, squeaking when I go from electric to ICE, camera freeze issues.

I have to use the two-finger salute in my PB fairly often. Press and hold power and forward seek buttons until it reboots... seems to fix most weird issues for a while. Might be worth giving it a try in your case as well

Calls are made via Bluetooth and are not linked to Carplay being active or not. Carplay will dislay the call information but that's it. 90% of Bluetooth issues are the result of outside interference on the 2.4Ghz band that it operates in. Delete the phone Bluetooth profile from the truck as well as on the your iPhone and re-pair the two. If you're using wireless Carplay try switching to wired and see if it makes any difference. If all this doesn't help try using a different phone to identify if the issue is with your device or the truck's Bluetooth transceiver.

Use Forscan to reset the transmission adaptation tables then drive it calmly in Sport or towing mode for a few days (total of 250 miles to "re-learn") on surface streets to get it to not skip 2nd gear all the time. You can also reset the APIM module with Forscan to see if that will help with the camera issue.
