Working on deleting the chrome and body color matching the bumpers and door handles on my Regular Cab...can't decide if I want to go with PTM mirror caps or leave them the stock textured black. It does go with the surrounding window trim the way it is now...and I'm not really a huge fan of the 2021+ mirror caps since they have the textured black portion in the middle regardless. But I can't make up my mind...what are y'all's thoughts? Leave the mirror caps alone...or paint to match?

I upgraded my tow mirrors to power folding. Tossed the chrome caps and went back to the textured black. Hard to tell from a distance they have a texture. I think the black looks better than color matched. My truck is carbonized gray. So it goes with the rest of black trim. No chrome on my truck. Lugs and some small body badges but those are on the way out. Already changed the chrome exhaust tip out to black.

Keeping wheels black?
Looks good now.

If you will be removing most the black from truck then white caps might look good.

Easy enough to throw some white plastidip or vinyl on there and ride around a week to see how you like it.

I would paint the bumpers white to match the truck--that would look great to "me"!! keep the mirrors black!

Keep the mirrors black! Will look great with the painted bumpers.. like you said, kind of works with the black window trim.

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
Not that it has anything to do with this question, but I had black textured door covers behind the chrome handles on my 2014 XLT. I could not stand the all the black look. I had my body guy paint them the same color as the body, which was dark gray. It blended in so well that it looked factory. The texture gave it a small amount of character and looked fantastic. Don't be afraid to paint plastic with trim. You will like the outcome.
