I lke to use Eco mode 99% of the time but I can't find anything in the FORScan spreadsheet that shows if this is possible.

Does anyone know?

thanks in advance.

There is a guy I think it was on one of the Facebook f150 groups that claimed he had found in forscan a setting so that it defaulted to whatever mode you had left it in but when I asked him where it could not remember. He used the non as builts and said it was an option. I’ve been thru it a few times and I’ve not found anything. ?‍♂

That’s too bad he can't remember if it was even there, sounds like he was mistaken.

i have found ECO for me...actually reduces my MPG, because right foot has to plant the go pedal more to get going or pass.
sport or normal(abby) are my modes for best mpg for my driving habits, with over 90% in 4A

Interesting. I like the driving characteristics of eco because I drive primarily with cruise control and it seems to really smoothly accelerate and it can be slightly quick in standard or sport mode.

No idea if something like this would work for the F150' but came across this Maverick hack thanks to the YouTube gods.

my long long trip to fl in dec in four days, i tried eco for about 200 miles, mostly flat florida
and it did under cruise perform OK, but mpg did drop. if use it at home ...its horrible because of my roads and driving habits. i am not jack rabbit, but i prefer to get to speed then set cruise in a timely manner
if i used right foot it was worse faster, felt slooooow to react, as is the programming so you dont waste fuel rabbit starting etc.
i have an ECO mode in my bus, 32k lbs of aero shaped brick ...it kills performance and makes the bus hold higher gear way to long and by them you lost your momentum .
this is a 1200ft lb tq monster.
i say FIND what works best based on your driving habits. we are all to different to say yeah or ney for anyone but ourselves, i just report what i get for results

I do not like eco mode, at all. It feels like there's a brick underneath the gas pedal.

Interesting, I will have to try normal next trip to see the difference.

It seems like driving it in TOW/Haul mode without towing anything gives 1-2MPG driving around the city. But most likely it prevents you from getting to boost or 9/10 as quickly. Higher revs too and it uses the engine to help you break. But that is me, my other driver is a diesel pusher RV.

i have also found at speeds of 60 to 65 if i lock out 9 and 10 my instant mpg goes up a tick pretty quick
for me its like keeping rpms in the engines sweet spot of efficiency
