Sweet setup!! How do you like that mantis? Such an interesting design. How do you find it with the pro power? I got my PB for boondocking too

The Mantis is awesome. It is perfect for my family. I have had no issues with the pro power. The truck will turn on about once a hour for a minute or two and the is with the A/C running non stop. When I had my buddies hooked up yesterday it was turning on every 30 minutes or so. I have been lucky no issues with truck.

Used mine this weekend for the first time at a fire dept event. Was running two fans, three crockpots and a hotdog steamer with ease.

Another successful camping trip using the Powerboost as my generator. This time around had my buddies camper also hooked up. Forgot to get a picture of his hooked up at the same time. I love this truck!!

At the end of the month, I'm gearing up for an extensive camping trip. Planning to create an immersive camping episode for my YouTube channel. Any seasoned camping experts out there with some pointers or advice for me?

I haven't gone camping in over 30 years but when I used to go camping with my family, I can tell you one of the main problems we had. Cooking in wind.

If you have a PB get a couple of induction cooktops and induction capable pots and pans and cook in a hurricane. Good luck on the trip.

I agree--though I just purchased a cheap hot plate setup to deal with the wind. I also bought an electric freezer to replace the typical cooler with melting ice--works great! One nice benefit of the freezer is that it can run using a Jackery battery for a while, so I can run the freezer overnight without having the PPOB periodically turn the truck on throughout the night, and then just recharge the Jackery the next day.

Love seeing this photo! I also have a Mantis and the family loves it plus it fits in the garage. My biggest worry when camping outside of a campground is not hitting any rocks on the trail. I’m in Colorado and the truck plus trailer making turning around fun if needed. Where is this photo taken?

1) We carry 20-25 extra gallons of water in the truck bed. I like taking a shower with soft water from home. And my wife struggles with “army’ showers
2) Induction hot plate is a must
3) Keep your favorite beverage in a cooler to keep the refrigerator door closed
4) TPMS on the trailer tires recommended as boondocking can treacherous.
