HA! Yes there was a time when a dealership would jump for joy at the opportunity to do some "good deed" for a customer. It takes almost no time, really costs them nothing, and buys thousands of dollars worth of good will. A simple gesture like this is an investment, let alone just a nice thing to do for a customer. Maybe help keep them loyal and return if they have a bigger money job.I am old enough to remember when a dealership (Ford, GM, Dodge....) wanted to have enough goodwill with their customers that they'd say "Sure Frank. Let me see your keys and I'll get Bob to take care of that for you. Shouldn't be but a few minutes"
Man are those days a bygone era.![]()
