Bye Bye XLT and Hello Raptor Grille

Trying to figure out which grille I'd like to run on my 22 XL. Definitely wanting to stick with something that's more black and no chrome to go with the "sport truck" theme. I like the one that's on it, but am always open to suggestions too. I wonder if I could do the Raptor grille and vinyl the Ford letters to match the body? Only thing is that the remember grille is the gray color and not actually black, correct?

A BAP grille would look good although the hood release notch in the grille would be visible since you have a non-BAP hood. If your wheels are gloss black that would go well with the BAP grille. Or maybe a paint matched STX grille or paint it all gloss black. A cheaper option might be the gloss black Lariat grille.

I don't mind the BAP grille, but I think the STX grille would look better. IMO the BAP grille and the Lariat grille are a bit too "plain" in the shaping. I actually think having a gloss black inner section with a paint matched outer section might be the ticket, especially because I'll be changing to black housing headlights and fog lights next month. It would end up looking something along the lines of this:

Both look good. The whited grille looks like a pretty easy upgrade for those colored trucks.

That's the route I'll probably go is the STX grille with a paint matched outside and blacked out emblem. Definitely has the sport truck look.

I purchased it from https://np-motorsports.com/, but unfortunately, they sent me the wrong harness, which had a scratch on it on the grille. Although I have already soldered the wires and everything is good, I am not happy about the mistake. They re-sent me a new harness that today has been stuck in California for the past four days. Lol, go figure and they mentioned refunding me $50 for my hassle, but no response yet.

The letters will come. They just don't put them online in the picture because of copywriting.
