A lot of smash and grab going on in the country right now. I heard California has a glass shortage because of this. Just my guess.I's been a month since my rear window was smashed on my 2021 F150 and I'm still waiting on a replacement. Winter is coming up so I'm thinking about going to a solid window. Does anyone know why it is so hard to find a new window for this truck?

It happened at work. Grounds keeper ran over a rock with a mower. I figured it was a supply issue because I have been searching and working with the Ford dealer. I'm reaching out in the hopes to find one, If I have to go with a solid window, I'm fine with that. That's better than the weather getting in. Thank you for the info.Very sorry to hear. We've had supply issues for months now at work and things are not getting better. You might try contacting different dealers/glass suppliers, including some a distance away from you. Maybe try to get a parts manager to escalate the part?
How did it break? Rock thrown by another vehicle?
That wouldn't have been on my broken glass bingo card. That's some big rocks!!!That's crazy. Mine got into it with a groundskeeper and a lawn mower. The mower won. lol
weed eater took the door glass out of one of my old T-Birds.That wouldn't have been on my broken glass bingo card. That's some big rocks!!!![]()
Thank you for the info.I would check junkyards. Most vehicles are smashed in the front.
I found an 2021 F250 slider and Carparts claims that it interchanges. The shape and size sure looks close. https://www.samsriverside.com/all-inventory.php

Wow, I'm glad he left a note. The guy that smashed my window just left. But, since I work on a military base they were able to track the company down.weed eater took the door glass out of one of my old T-Birds.
