Bumper Damage Preventing Programming???

I have a 2021 Tremor. I am trying to get the TRAILER TPMS software issues sorted out (not regular tpms), but when i took it to the dealer, they told me the truck couldn't be programmed because of 2 dents on the bumper. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

The dents haven't affected any electronics that I have noticed (the rear sensors and plugs all work great).

The dents are near the exhaust pipe, and there doesn't seem to be anything behind them. It's just warped metal. Anyone know what's going on here?

In reality that’s the biggest bunch of bull shit I’ve heard in a while. They don’t know what they are doing so they made up whatever they could to get you down the road.

I know right! This has to be it. I literally said "it's just a Dent, it could easily be rolled out. How would that fix the problem. If I took it to a body shop they would just tap out the dents."

And their response was "if it was an easy task we would've done it ourselves"

Ill try to find the process I would tell you If I was familiar with it. I am not. Ill see what I can find. Most likely youll need the tpms training tool. Its a garage opener thing that uyou point at the valve stem.

I have the one with backup assist, even though they never sent me a yaw sensor (wtf, I paid more for it). Otherwise, yes it's that part
