I don't understand any of this...
My 3/30 build shipped on 4/12 by rail, went to Delaware last Friday, I am in Maryland (2 hour drive away) and my est. delivery to dealer actually went up two days to 5/17. Explain how this makes sense???

There are shortages everywhere in the global shipping chain. There's a lack of containers for ships, trains, and trucks, lack of trailers, trucks, and drivers for over the road transport.

Dealer could literally drive to go get it, leave at 9am and be back by 2pm having stopped for lunch. ?

No. My estimate to dealer was 5/9 and a moving target. Actually arrived 4/27. However, I see yours is shipping rail.

"Shipped" rail. KC to Wilmington DE.
Sticker has always said "Convoy". It got off the train last Friday having past by me haha

Dealer told me I got lucky to get mine, the Ford rep was there on Monday and said the official word Ford is telling the dealers is '2 months if the truck has been built' for the chip shortage. We all know how dealership talk is, but thought I'd share. Best of luck my friend, all I can tell you is that it will be worth the wait!

what was your build day? Was the tracker up to date with your status or did it catch you by surprise?

I should be so lucky....my Lariat PB is still sitting in Ramp 59 awaiting parts. Truck was build on 3/29/2021.

Same here…platinum PB produced 4/1 sitting somewhere waiting on parts. Dealer tracker doesn’t show ramp 59 though. It’s just “produced”. Has your ETA updated? Mine is still 4/29. The Ford tracker stopped counting up today so maybe they will update my ETA soon??????
