It is powered by the body control module. Once you close the door, the timer will run out after 20 minutes or so, rendering the remote inoperable until the door is opened. So, if someone opened the door without a key, the alarm will sound and if the window is broken, the remote will not work...
Anybody successfully sort this out? My 2021, the air inlet door is stuck on recirculation - always drawing inside air rather than outside air. This will cause the windows to fog up in cold weather. With the glove box removed, you can see the inlet door above the cabin filter.
I have not and not concerned with it. I changed running lamp brightness, fogs on w/bright lights, disabled double honk and disabled auto start/stop. Should not be any issues taking to dealer. What are the going to say???
I made this change and the upper light is super bright. No noticeable change to the lower light. Is there a way to change the brightness of the lower light or is this the way it is? Thanks
