I traded in my 2.3L ’23 4 Door Bronco for a brand new ’24 STX F150, and I can honestly say this is the nicest car I have ever owned. It genuinely feels like I’ve upgraded to a Rolls Royce. It glides down the highway, hardly any road noise, AND gets better MPG and higher towing rating while doing so. There are only a few minor things that I wish this truck had to match my Bronco (push to start, proximity unlock with the button on the handle, exterior keypad, leather steering wheel) but these minor “nice-to-haves” drastically outweigh the cons of the Bronco. I know I could have gotten all the bells and whistles on a higher trim level but I’m practical, have a budget, and realize just because you can afford something, doesn’t mean you necessarily should.
I loved my Bronco, but they beat you up while driving, especially if you do a lot of highway driving like I was. It’s hard to fit 4 people in there comfortably, car seats are a squeeze, the windows are floppy and jiggle every time you open/close the door, cargo space is abysmal and highway driving is a beating. Don’t get me wrong, I think Broncos are some of the coolest cars on the road today, but it’s hard to beat the comfort and practicality of a truck. Not sure why it took me so long to get into one, but I’m glad I did.
Wonder if anyone else had the same or similar experience?
