Brakes Squeak on and off!

Mine follow this same pattern also, function well. Just concerned I'll never be able to tell when they are close to worn other than pulling a wheel off.

There is a TSB recall for some 21's and 22's

I even printed out that TSB and handed it to the dealer when I asked them to look at the brakes.
His response was, "oh, I haven't heard of that one."
I'm going to bring it up again the next time I bring my truck in for service, but I'm going to try at a different dealership.

Hmmm I had the recall down where they just wrapped the parking brake because it can run don’t know if that is different. I agree I won’t know if they are ever worn it’s just weird even in hot weather no humidity they still do it.

I believe this is a different TSB just related to noise complaints, that wire harness chafe issue was an actual recall, would deploy the parking brake while in motion.

Have not done it nor heard any feedback on this TBS yet. Plan to before my power train warrantee is up.

Had a real bad noise from the front driver side wheel. Leaking caliper and pads were dragging. Truck in the shop now and dealer is replacing caliper. Sounded like a 18 wheeler stopping every time. Have your brakes checked out. My truck is still under 3/36 warranty. NO COST. 17k miles.

Update. LF caliper was replaced and truck's brakes are working normally wo any noise. Don't write off the noise as normal. Yes, Ford's Semi-metallic brake pads can be noisy. But my issue seemed to much more than normal Semi-metallic brake pads noise.
