Bueller, Bueller, Bueller?

Anyone fix this or are there three F-150s still sitting in your driveways?
I eventually had it towed to the dealer where they said multiple modules had errors and they had to reset them individually. My wife picked up the truck so I didn't get to speak to the tech to get better clarification.

I bought a battery charger and tried with adequate voltage which didn't change anything. After 5 days of troubleshooting, I drove it carefully to the dealership. The brakes felt like they were working at around 30-40%. The dealer said that they've seen this a lot and that the only way to exit is using FDRS. I commented that I basically can't work on my rear brakes now without FDRS and the service rep said, yep, pretty much. Very annoying.

Just to confirm here, as I'm going to need to work on my front brakes soon, does brake maintenance mode only apply to the rears, or is it needed when working on the front brakes as well?

It only applies to Rear brake work, Maintenace mode retracts the Electric Parking brake motor servos found in each of the rear calipers to allow the pistons to be pushed back when changing pads. For front brake work only, you will not need to do this.

Just curious, if the PB is hybrid and uses regen from the rear brakes, why would the rear pads need replacing so soon? I would think they should go quite a ways longer than a non-hybrid.

Big Dog Daddy sent me this document for getting in/out of maintenance mode:

The factory service manual has the following instructions (I have not compared the two)

Yesterday I was able to deactivate/exit brake service mode by switching the order of steps 2 and 3 (Place the EPB switch in the apply position BEFORE holding the accelerator pedal). Success!! Let me know if it works for you.

Credit goes to this guy:

@Ford Motor Company, it would be great if you updated the instructions

I was starting to panic after doing all of these proceedures AND STILL BEING STUCK.
Being a Technician i tried a few things(ae Cap discharge), still no go.
I called my stealerships and they were unhelpful as always.
I finally tried something with success, with the ignition on, hold the EPB button up, smash and hold the brake pedal and performed the exit maintenance mode in Forscan......BINGO.

Hope this helps.
