Brake issue… any ideas?

About to replace my pads and rotors on my 2021 F150 because I’ve noticed a pulsing when decelerating from high speeds. Noticed this on the back right brake and only that one. Any ideas what caused this?

(Referring to that thick band of residue on the top part of the rotor)

Looks like your pad is mis-shapen/defective
Remove the pad. You will see it is not contacting the rotor in that location

Slide pins sticky, not braking hard enough, etc.
