Getting ready to use some Built Right self-cutting screws on my Box Link plates.
I don't have any thread cutting oil and live out in the sticks. IS there a good substitute I can use.
Not just a substitute but a good substitute?

I have a a fair assortment of gun oils, gear oil, teflon spray, Wd-40, silicon, etc..... Or I can make the hike to town if it makes the difference in a stuck or broken screw.

Use Vaseline. It’s what Ford recommends.

Self tapping screws are designed to be used dry with no cutting oil, grease, or special lubricants
