Does anyone have experience with carrying bikes with your truck and still using BC? I usually transport my bikes with a hitch rack, but that will at least partially obscure the tailgate camera which I imagine will effect the trucks ability to use hands free BC, although I haven't had a chance to try it yet. There's the option of using a tailgate pad instead, one with a hole in it for the camera to see through - I haven't found one yet that I'm confident would work well for that either. Just wondering if anyone has run into this and found a solution?

So I have a bike rack and used it with BC just fine. I might have just gotten lucky, it was only one bike so maybe it didn't block a sensor or something.

I've used my 1UP with two bikes on it, BC works fine.

The rack is a PITA with reversing though since it blocks the camera and parking sensors. I just bought a tailgate pad to see if I prefer that.

I usually use a tailgate pad with no issues but earlier this summer used a rack to drive Colorado to Oregon and back for the extra bed space and did not impact BC at all. Not entirely sure if true but also seemed to benefit MPG somewhat having tonneau closed with bikes behind vs the drag of the open bed with the bikes in the back. Would consider just going rack all the time except we live in the city and it makes it a bitch to park, and also the truck barely fits in the garage at our cabin even without one…
