Bluecruise update paused?

My 21 plat has active 2.0 prep (I recently purchased it) and for some reason Its not getting the blue cruise update.

I am surprised it never got it before, but my app is saying "will come soon with an update".

took it to a dealer, and they said ford paused bluecruise updates...so people who have the update can use it, but new people can't? that doesn't make sense.

I can macgyver it to get hands free via active-assist 2.0, but would rather not and get the actual hands free.

@rugedraw can provide more information but, as I understand from him, Ford put a hold on further Blue Cruise activations effective early January because of a problem with the software update for the IPC.

Yes, since January 4th, Ford posted a bulletin on their dealer service website asking them not to perform bluecruise updates until further notice. With that said, some members have posted and very recently that they convinced they dealer to apply bluecruise updates.

For trucks that do have the 21G01 campaign open under their VIN, I am not sure if Ford will pay them to update the trucks during this time since they aren't supposed to be doing it.

@natefons Post or PM me your VIN so I can take a look at your truck and see if I can see anything in your truck that can help. Maybe you can't get them to apply all the updates, but you may be able to get them to get your truck out of a possible situation where you aren't getting updates.
