Ya sorry wasn’t to clear due to the fact that I don’t know lol but I get it you need a mongoose cable and then pay for the fdrs to do updates fdrs is what gives you the software to update

FDRS is "Ford Diagnostic & Repair System" and is the same software dealer techs use. As a non-Ford employee, you can buy a 2 day license to use if for $50, but you need the Mongoose to be able do anything with FDRS. Page one of the thread below tells you what you need to know for starters. It's a lot to take in, but using FDRS is easy IMO.

Fair enough that you for that Info. I’ll do some research about it. as long as I get the right info I believe I’ll be able to figure it out
