My 2022 f150 keeps telling me I have an, over the air, Blue Cruse 1.4 upgrade to down load. I have tried several times and and after a few minutes I get a down load terminated message. Has anybody else had this issue?

My 22 Platnium did the same thing until I put charger on, shut the hood, loched the doors and left it overnight then 4th try and the update installed,
now when I put it in cruise Ino longer get the blue cruise message on the dash like before, I am on 2 lane roads so can't tell anything different other than the message not being there seems like more watch the road messages too

I will give the charger a try. Sounds about right the batteries in these trucks are junk they put 4 of them in under warranty.

Do you use WiFi or the Ford cellular connection? Apparently using WiFi can lead to blocked updates with some router settings when Ford sends updates from foreign IP addresses.

OK here is the latest in the Blue Cruse up date. I called Ford and they told me the battery was only 77% charged and I had to have at least 80% charge for it to update. I drove the truck for 30 minutes and it still had a low battery. Went to the Dealer they replaced the battery, it was 10 month old and failed testing.
Still didn't up grade with the parking brake on head light turned off and doors locked. I opened the dash and removed the start stop eliminator and the upgrade worked.

I don't know if it was the start stop eliminator or the fact that I was hopping on one leg while rubbing my belly and patting my head, but it is finally installed.

Mine keeps failing as well. Who would have thought previous updates from Ford improving the update process and battery charging aren't working.

I lost interest in 1.4 after I found out it doesn't have auto lane change.

1.4 does change lanes. Engage the turn signal in the lane change, momentary contact, position and let go. The turn signal will stay on until the truck changes lanes. If there is someone beside you it will keep flashing until it can make a safe lane change. 1.4 is also more stable with fewer drop outs and has the move over feature if thee is a truck beside you.

I meant auto lane change as in it sees slow traffic, checks surrounding, then change lanes on its own. If I reach up to signal I might as well grab the wheel and do it myself.

Call Ford at 833 389 0848 that number goes to the software upgrade dept. They can tell you if your truck has an issue. In my case I had a battery going bad. You have to have at least a 80% charge to do the upgrade

All you have to do is bump the turn signal lever for a second
