BlueCruise and cashless tolling!

The NY state thruway has been cashless tolling for a few years now and we have had EasyPass for quite a while. There are overhead gantries on the Thruway around the Albany area because there are major highways feeding into the thruway that are not toll, so these gantries catch people coming off these roads. So I noticed on Thursday while traveling north that BlueCruise disengages when you get approximately 1/4 mile from the gantry and reconnects approximately 1/4 mile after passing under. Could the radar from the adaptive cruise be interfered with from the signal that the toll gantry puts out to ping the transponder in my easy pass device? I don't recall this happening before. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I might add that it repeated itself on the return trip. Thanks

I've had that with all highway speed E-ZPass plazas I've gone through (NJ, PA, DE, & MD). My guess is they want to be sure you're paying attention through the toll. I highly doubt it senses the toll plaza.

Happens to me in FL as well. Turnpike toll booths and i95 toll lanes.

Thanks, upon zooming in on roads that I travel a lot, I see why blue cruise drops out a lot. I was blaming our poorly marked roads, but the map proves otherwise. Ford has intentionally fragmented the mapped highways.
