Hoping anyone interested in brainstorming with me a little project I'm slowly working on:

I have a 23 Lariat 502A with 360 CoPilot Assist 2.0 (has all the connections for BlueCruise modules and hardware) but WITHOUT actual BlueCruise and I am slowly acquiring the necessary parts:

1. Radio Bezel - ML3T-18B955-BG - ACQUIRED, Ebay, from Platinum, has all buttons I currently have minus Auto On/Off (blank button now, will swap with below)

2. Switch Assembly - Auto On/Off, Camera - ML3Z-13D730-FB (SW8508) - ACQUIRED

3. control module status monitor - driver (performance) - ML3Z-3G590-D - ACQUIRED

4. night vision camera connector cable (performance) - ML3Z-10E929-A - NOT YET ACQUIRED, EXPENSIVE! **UPDATE** ACQUIRED Female to Female Vehicle Antenna Adapter Cable for $7 on Amazon. Same connectors and coaxial cable.

5. led status monitor (ir) door trim panel - driver - ML3Z-3G589-B - ACQUIRED

6. door window molding mirror cover - left, front, driver (bev, performance) - ML3Z-17K709-BE - ACQUIRED

7. led status monitor (ir) instrument panel - driver (performance) - ML3Z-3G589-A - ACQUIRED

8. Radar Sensor Bracket - ML3Z-14D189-E (driver) - NOT YET ACQUIRED

9. Radar Sensor Bracket - ML3Z-14D189-F (passenger) - NOT YET ACQUIRED

10. x2 Blind Spot Detection System Warning Sensor ML3Z-14C689-H (ML3T-14H031-AH) - NOT YET ACQUIRED

I have confirmed that I have all the necessary connections for the IR in the driver door (capped), BC module in the dash (capped), and front BLISS (capped).

The installation of these components is not what I am worried about, it's making the appropriate module changes in FORSCAN that are needed. I am assuming it's a lot.

I know the front BLISS will need PMI to my VIN, other than those, I have not found any other component that needs VIN coding (surprisingly, not even the BC module).

I am not opposed to going the FDRS route with a Mongoose cable, but I am exploring all options before I drop the cash on that.

If interested in digging more, my VIN is: 1FTFW1E83PFC19300

Any ideas would be great and will be fun to learn from the community.

**UPDATE** I have acquired most of the parts minus the front BLISS and brackets. Those are readily available on eBay and fordparts.com. Once I receive everything, I will run FDRS and update the modules, run the BC Prep Kit procedure and then the Smart Offering.

There are only handful of people on this forum that I think would be able to get this done, and I am not one of them. First thing that comes to mind is: How would you purchase a BC subscription from Ford if BC was never intended to be on your truck to begin with?

THAT, is the million dollar question. And one of the main reasons I posted this. It's a project and it may not be able to be done, but the challenge of trying makes it a little fun.

The only way to purchase Bluecruise from Ford may be by using the Vin off the donor vehicle, keep all the info off that module before tucking it away where ever it belongs, it will make one interesting phone call when it comes time to do the purchase. :)

I understand your desire to do this project for the challenge, I have been known to do the same ?

If it doesn't work out or if you run out of time/money, I suggest the Comma 3x. It's like BlueCruise but without a subscription. I added ACC and LKA to my Pro Lightning and the Comma works great. There's a couple of threads on here and an active developer @Ajzride for a Ford-specific branch of the software called BluePilot that's open source:

Good morning! When replacing the ACC sensor, due to my full wheelbarrow handle puncturing the beautiful little bumper cover plate and the aforementioned sensor getting skewered, do I have to subscribe to Forscan to replace it with the new one?

Thank you all!
