Blue Cruise - Dealer Download PROBLEMS!!

I took my truck in to the dealer to have Blue Cruise installed, after I was told they could do so. They installed it but it does not work AND lane centering will no longer engage. Dealer can’t seem to resolve but says they’re working on it with Ford techs. Has anyone run into this issue?? So disappointed I’ve now lost all “self driving” functionality. It’s the whole reason I bought this truck!

Recalibrate the 360 cams? In the large ECU update thread someone mentioned that needs to be done if a module relating to those cams failed or they had to wipe it and restore....

I recalibrated mine after doing the blue cruise update myself through FDRS.

There are a few power up revisions between 2.3.0 (last OTA for non-EAtrucks) and 2.5.2 (BlueCruise). I got stuck somewhere in the 2.4.8 or 2.5.0 range (FDRS updates do not really get power up numbers, just guessing equivalents here) and had this issue. It sounds like you are missing the last APIM and GWY update.

Are these things I could do on my own or the dealer would need to do? Sorry, the terminology is a bit over my head. When I check the system it says I’m “riding with” the latest update. However, I didn’t have Blue Cruise prior to now so maybe I didn’t get all the updates.

I am just as frustrated as you are, I took my truck to the dealership here in Fort Worth to upload my blue cruise and my truck won’t except it. I bought my vehicle in 2021, it has all the features for blue cruise except for the software and they can’t get it to upload. I told him to keep it until they figure it out very frustrating !

My F150 is at FIVE STAR FORD in North Richland Hills Texas which is part of Fort Worth. The tech is pulling his hair out as he has been on the phone with for tech-support and can’t get anywhere. I told them to keep it until they figure it out this whole thing really pisses me off at Ford would release an update before it was ready!!

I am having the same problem. Tech said FDRS shows everything updated, yet no blue cruise showing in sync “about” screen and it is obviously not working. Tomorrow will be the fourth day they have had it. I can definetely see that the tech is frustrated. I’ll update if I get a resolution.
