Nope. Never, ever use Zelle to purchase anything. Ever. Never.

They were still posting in sale threads Dec 23rd trying to scam someone else.

Never use unsecured payments unless you are willing to take the risk. I've done it both ways but it's from people who sell a lot of stuff. Still a risky thing to do.
