The fact they even marketed it as such is a turnoff for me. The ONLY thing they have is competitive cost for the time being assuming you can use gallons on the nose.
I could be accused of being in the Amsoil ”cult”. I have used their red cap ATF and various of their motor oils for over 25 years, with superb results IMHO.

But I concur that marketing the blue cap ATL as meeting ULV specs was BS as the viscosity numbers were way off. And in some respect it is more egregious that they now (as of ~Oct ’24) make a ULV green cap fluid, and have since stopped marketing blue cap ATL as meeting ULV specs. I am VERY disappointed to say the least and they've lost some credibility with me.

Other ULVs that meet spec
RAVENOL ATF ULV D-M (German company)
I've been using Ravenol in Aisin tranny's that come factory filled with conventional oil and they shift so much better afterwards. Started trying other products such as engine oil in the wife's car and noticed far improved cold performance over the factory synthetic. Real fan of this brand. Too bad it's become so pricey.
